What is it?
Because we are dealing with information that can be proven, sometimes a section of a page will truth-locked. When this happens, users can no longer edit that specific section of the page because all of the information is completely correct. Note that articles are never truth-locked.

To be truth-locked, a section of a page might meet one or more of the following requirements:

• High traffic
• High vandalism or malicious edits
• All information is proven and correct

It is most common to see the profiles of groups and competitions truth-locked. Show/Season information is rarely truth-locked because more people and info might be added. Competition results will sometimes be truth locked.

IMPORTANT: Please do not ask by e-mail or on the discussion boards for a page to be truth-locked unless you are seeing extreme cases of vandalism and all the information is proven to be correct. The administration of MarchingWiki will keep track of all the pages and will truth-lock sections when they see it fit.
